A Solicitador is an independent professional witch has complete a law degree and the professional exams from the Solicitor Institute in order to preform legal acts on behalf of others.
After taking instructions from clients, Solicitadores will advise on the legal action needed, depending on their areas of legal expertise.
Solicitadores work directly with clients and although specific work activities will naturally depend on the Solicitador’s area of expertise, their main task is discussing with clients to provide the necessary legal advice and services, in order to answer the clients needs.
Solicitadores deal with all the paperwork and communication involved with their clients' cases, such as writing documents, letters and contracts tailored to their client’s needs; ensuring the accuracy of legal advice and procedure, and preparing papers for Court.
Solicitadores represent clients in disputes and represent them in Court if necessary. However, Solicitadores may instruct specialist advocates to appear in Court on behalf of their clients.
